Reddy buzzing for new season

With the good news coming thick and fast from the Glory office this off-season, our custodian Liam Reddy is already excited for what’s in store for the 2018-19 season.

A new leadership duo of manager Tony Popovic stature and CEO Tony Pignata has the entire club looking forward to the future as a new era begins.

Reddy hit the airwaves bright and early this morning with TAB Radio to discuss the new appointments and what fans should be expecting.

Tony Popovic at Glory HQ

“I think [Popovic] will bring a complete turnaround in terms of his no-excuse policy, you’ll expect a very fit team next season. His teams are very well-disciplined and everyone’s accountable for their actions in terms of playing style as well,” the ‘keeper said.

“The club is definitely going in the right direction. Popovic is one of the best, if not the best coach in Australia. I think he will now attract players from the East coast to come over here… his record speaks for itself, it’s a major drawcard.”

“The appointments of Tony Pignata and Popovic are excellent, I worked with Pignata before at Wellington Phoenix where he did a wonderful job.”
