Glory partners with Subway for 2022-23 A-League Season

Perth Glory is proud to announce that it has signed a major partnership agreement with Subway for the 2022-23 A-League Season.

Subway offers a fresh alternative to traditional fast food, enabling customers to choose from premium-quality meats, cheeses, fresh vegetables, cookies and bread baked daily.

With 1400 locations across Australia and New Zealand and more than 40,000 others around the world, Subway is Australia’s largest restaurant chain serving nutritious and delicious subs, salads and wraps along with its iconic cookie range.

In addition to providing a variety of great tasting, nutritious food choices, Subway is also committed to reducing its environmental footprint and creating a positive influence in the communities it serves around the world.

Its logo will appear on the back of all of Glory’s A-League playing kit next season and club CEO Tony Pignata is thrilled to have partnered with an organisation boasting such an enormous regional, national and global profile.

“This is a fantastic deal for the club,” he said, “and we are delighted to have a company of Subway’s stature on board for 2022/23.

“Their commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles and caring for local communities mirrors that of the club, making them an ideal fit at every level.

“We are very much looking forward to developing this partnership with Subway over the next 12 months and hopefully beyond.”

Subway’s Australia and New Zealand Communications Manager, Rhys Reynolds, was also quick to highlight the synergies between the restaurant chain and Glory.

“With this partnership between Subway and Perth Glory Football Club,” he said, “we hope to not only raise awareness about the importance of a healthy diet and active lifestyle, but to also ensure young footballers have more opportunities to participate in the sport right across the state.

“Subway’s partnership will help enable Perth Glory Football Club to continue to grow and operate its teams from the juniors within the PGFC Academy right up to the senior ISUZU UTE A-League side.”
