Striker Sulemani departs club by mutual consent

Perth Glory can confirm that forward Arion Sulemani has departed the club by mutual consent in order to take up an opportunity elsewhere.

The 21-year-old signed for Glory ahead of last season having previously been on the books of his hometown club, Melbourne City.

He went on to make 10 appearances in purple and scored his maiden A-League goal in the Round 24 home win over Macarthur FC.

“An opportunity has come up for Arion to gain more regular game-time than he was likely to get with us,” said Glory Football Director Stan Lazaridis.

“We’ve agreed that this move is the right one for him at this time.

“Arion has conducted himself superbly since he arrived at Glory and we would like to thank him for his contribution to the club and wish him all the very best in the next chapter of his career.”

Further ALM squad announcements will be made shortly.
