Biography
Junior Matildas midfielder Georgia Cassidy first joined Glory’s Liberty A-League squad ahead of the 2023/24 season.
The 20-year-old Perth local is no stranger to the Glory set-up having received a Football West scholarship to train with the club last year, while still representing the Hyundai NTC in the NPLW WA competition.
She was a part of the Junior Matildas squad which claimed the AFF U18 Women’s Championship in 2022.
Cassidy made a seamless transition to ALW football, chalking up 19 appearances during her maiden campaign and adding a further 16 in 2024/25, when she also scored her first senior goal in the Round 2 victory over Newcastle Jets.
Her efforts earned the gifted midfielder the 2025 Members’ Player of the Year Award.
