The Amsterdam-born 33-year-old, who has represented Curacao at international level, joined Glory ahead of the 2020/21 season.

The central defender’s impressive football resume includes nearly 200 Eredivisie appearances for the likes of Groningen, PEC Zwolle and Twente Enschede, along with spells at English Championship club Sheffield Wednesday and most recently, Israeli Premier League side Hapoel Ra’anana,

A commanding figure at 1.89m in height, the former Ajax youth player helped PEC Zwolle win promotion to the Eredivisie and claim the KNVB Cup during the first of his two spells with the club, while his international debut for the Caribbean nation of Curacao came in March 2015.

During his debut campaign in purple, Lachman made 25 appearances and scored his maiden A-League goal against Newcastle Jets in Round 14.

He followed that up by playing a further 26 games in 2021/22 and his outstanding performances earned him the Most Glorious Player, Players’ Player of the Year and Members’ Player of the Year awards.

Lachman now has 75 A-League appearances to his name and added another goal to his record when he found the net against Brisbane Roar in January 2023.
