Perth Glory can confirm that defender Kosuke Ota has departed the club after his contract was terminated by mutual consent.
The 34-year-old former Japan international joined Glory ahead of the 2020/21 season and went on to make a total of 30 A-League appearances, 11 of which came last term.
“On behalf of the club, I would like to thank Kosuke for his service,” said club CEO Tony Pignata.
“We wish him and his family all the very best for the future.”
Ota’s departure frees up a foreigner spot on the club’s roster for the 2022/23 campaign.
