The new NPLWA season is set to get underway on Saturday, with the PGFC Academy teams heading to Dorrien Gardens to take on old rivals Perth SC (Under-18s at 9am, Under-20s at 5pm, First Team at 7pm).
Giordano Colli has been named as the First Team skipper for 2021, with Chris Donnell as vice-captain and Ruben Zadkovich will, of course, be directing operations as Head Coach.
With games against reigning Champions Floreat Athena, perennial heavy-hitters Bayswater City and last season’s third and second-placed sides Cockburn City and Gwelup Croatia to follow in Rounds 2-5, it’s a challenging draw for Glory’s youngsters, but one that Zadkovich is relishing.
