Perth Glory snatched a late equalizer to deny Floreat Athena three points and a top of the table spot after Henry Durr scored with a delightful lob in stoppage to level 2-2 in the ANZAC day clash at E&D Litis Stadium.

Nick Talimdioski cancelled out Lewis McMahon’s goal, but Floreat went ahead a second time through Bobby Wilson in an evenly contested game.

But Durr struck late on to prevent Floreat from going outright top of the PS4 NPLWA, and earn what Glory coach John Gibson thought was a deserved point.

“Obviously we knew what the challenge was for them tonight. If they won, they would go top of the table,” he said.

“But I thought the boys were quality tonight. We competed really, really well and tested them.”
