Glory extends major partnership agreement with DLA Piper

Perth Glory is proud to announce that it has extended its major partnership agreement with global law firm DLA Piper for the next two Liberty A-League seasons.

For a second successive year, DLA Piper’s logo will feature on the back of the women’s team’s shirts and across a range of prominent signage at Glory’s home Liberty A-League games.

DLA Piper provides business and law solutions for a huge number of clients spread across more than 40 countries worldwide and also advises government and public sector bodies.

Renowned for its commitment to diversity, inclusion and equality, the company engages in a wide range of pro bono projects dedicated to assisting the underprivileged and disenfranchised.

Glory CEO, Tony Pignata, is delighted that the partnership with DLA Piper is continuing.

“We really enjoyed working with DLA Piper last year,” he said, “and are excited at the prospect of doing so again this year and hopefully beyond.

“There are many synergies between the two organisations, notably around their key values of being bold, collaborative, exceptional and supportive, as well as being a force for good within the local community and beyond.

“This season is shaping up to be an extremely exciting one for our Liberty A-League team and we are looking forward to DLA Piper being a part of the journey.”

DLA Piper’s Australian Managing Partner, Amber Matthews, echoed those sentiments.

“Partnering with Perth Glory is an holistic fit for DLA Piper,” she said, “one that aligns with our values and our culture of diversity and inclusion.

“It’s also a tangible way we can connect with the local Perth community and support women’s participation in sport and help encourage equity for women at an elite sporting level.”
