Perth Glory is delighted to confirm that experienced midfielder Hollie Palmer has joined the club’s Ninja A-League squad as an injury replacement.
The 23-year-old previously chalked up more than 80 ALW appearances during spells with her hometown club Brisbane Roar and Melbourne City, contributing four goals and ten assists, winning 119 tackles and delivering 124 crosses.
At international level, meanwhile, she featured regularly for the Young Matildas and was a key member of their squad at the 2019 AFC U19 Women’s Championship.
Glory Head Coach Stephen Peters believes that Palmer has the potential to make a big impression during the final third of the campaign.
“It’s great to welcome a player of Hollie’s pedigree into the group,” he said.
“She brings plenty of experience both in terms of the ALW and international football and will significantly bolster our midfield stocks during what is a vital stage of the season.
“Hollie has settled really well into the squad and we look forward to seeing her showcasing her talent in the coming weeks.”
Palmer is expected to be added to Glory’s squad for Saturday’s Round 17 trip to Newcastle Jets and has been allocated squad number 3.
