City and Jets games off after more COVID cases in Glory camp

Perth Glory can confirm that due to further players within the squad testing positive for COVID-19 and others becoming symptomatic, the club’s scheduled ISUZU UTE A-League games against Melbourne City at AAMI Park on Sunday 6 February and Newcastle Jets at WIN Stadium on Wednesday 9 February have both been postponed.

With the squad currently based in Sydney, the players and their close contacts are adhering to NSW Health directives, in close consultation with the A-Leagues.

The health and safety of its players and staff remains the club’s top priority.

New dates for the two postponed fixtures will be confirmed as soon as possible.
