O’Neill and Rigby named Glory skippers for 2021/22 Season

Perth Glory is delighted to confirm that Brandon O’Neill and Natasha Rigby will captain its respective Isuzu Ute A-League Men’s and A-League Women’s teams during the 2021/22 Season. Midfielder O’Neill will wear the Glory armband for the first time having returned for a second spell at his hometown club during the off-season, while fellow-West Australian Rigby will lead the club’s women into a new campaign for a third time. Both players are understandably thrilled to have been handed the captaincy role.

Club office relocating

Effective immediately, Perth Glory are moving our Administration and Team Store from its current location at 203 Underwood Avenue, Floreat. Our staff will be working remotely while we are busy preparing for the season ahead. We ask for patience and cooperation while we complete this transition. The Club is still in operation and we encourage you to use the respective departmental emails as the primary communication.

Dates set for Senior PGFC Academy trials

Trials for our Senior PGFC Academy Teams participating in the 2021/22 NPL WA Season will commence later this month and will be by invitation only from the expression of interest list. Players born from 2004 to 2006 are eligible to register their interest by clicking HERE. Registration closes at midday on Sunday 24 October 2021. Selected players will be notified of their invitation via email.

Glory edged out by WA State Team

Glory suffered their first defeat of pre-season on Saturday as the Gold Fields Australia WA Men's State Team ran out 1-0 winners in the annual Gold Fields Challenge Cup match at Percy Doyle Reserve. WA skipper Kristian Santich grabbed the only goal of the game seven minutes from time after Giordano Colli had missed Glory's best chance of the afternoon when he saw his penalty saved by John Perkins.
