More than 400 guests were on hand to enjoy the club's spectacular Season Launch/Glory In Business Luncheon event held at Crown Perth on Thursday. To mark Glory's 25th anniversary, a host of former players, coaches and administrators were in attendance, including Mich D'Avray, Kenny Lowe, Jamie Harnwell and Dino Djulbic who took part in a highly-entertaining panel discussion with host Peter Vlahos.
Perth Glory is delighted to confirm that Brandon O’Neill and Natasha Rigby will captain its respective Isuzu Ute A-League Men’s and A-League Women’s teams during the 2021/22 Season. Midfielder O’Neill will wear the Glory armband for the first time having returned for a second spell at his hometown club during the off-season, while fellow-West Australian Rigby will lead the club’s women into a new campaign for a third time. Both players are understandably thrilled to have been handed the captaincy role.

Our staff will be working remotely while we are busy preparing for the season ahead. We ask for patience and cooperation while we complete this transition. The Club is still in operation and we encourage you to use the respective departmental emails as the primary communication.

Glory suffered their first defeat of pre-season on Saturday as the Gold Fields Australia WA Men's State Team ran out 1-0 winners in the annual Gold Fields Challenge Cup match at Percy Doyle Reserve. WA skipper Kristian Santich grabbed the only goal of the game seven minutes from time after Giordano Colli had missed Glory's best chance of the afternoon when he saw his penalty saved by John Perkins.
