The Isuzu UTE A-League men’s season will end with four weeks of finals, under a revamped format also unveiled today.
Under the new finals format for the Isuzu UTE A-League, the team finishing third on the ladder will host the side that comes sixth, while fourth will play fifth, with both ties played as single finals.
The sides that finished first and second on the ladder will play the two qualifiers in home-and-away semi-finals over two weekends, before the Grand Final follows on the fourth weekend of the finals.
The A-League Men’s season will reach a crescendo with the Grand Final scheduled for May 28 and for the first time, this season will feature the inaugural Club Championship, a trophy awarded to the clubs with the most success across both the men’s and women’s leagues.
