Dates for our Talent ID Sessions for our 2023 Pre-Academy are now set .
Players born in 2012 are eligible to register as per the session schedule below.
Designed to fit between the Glory Development Centre (GDC) and the National Premier League (NPL) pathway, the program is for players born in 2012 who are selected via the club’s talent identification sessions.
It will be delivered by a group of highly-accredited coaches who have been specially selected for their expertise in working with players from this age group.
The key focus of the Pre-Academy program is the technical development of the players and improving their mentality and game understanding as part of easing their transition into playing 11-a-side football on a full-sized pitch.
Players enrolled in the program will remain with their existing clubs, with the Pre-Academy sessions designed to supplement rather than replace their club training.
The program will commence at the end of January with a 3-day training camp from 9am to 3pm each day and follow through with 2 sessions per week in 10-week blocks over the 3 school terms, ending in September.
They will receive two full sets of training kit, plus a full Perth Glory Junior Silver Membership for the 2022/23 A-League Season.
Players can attend either of the sessions 1 or 2 listed below, but we encourage attendance at both sessions to ensure a full assessment.
Please see the schedule below. All sessions will be held at John Curtin College, 90 Ellen Street Fremantle (Enter from Vale Street).
Players must arrive 15 minutes prior to the listed start time.
Session 1: Saturday 3rd September – Arrival 10am for registration, trials from 10.30am to midday
