Perth Glory wishes to confirm that striker Joe Knowles has not been retained by the club.
The 22-year-old was part of the first-team squad for the past three seasons having progressed through the club’s youth system.
He made his Hyundai A-League debut against Melbourne City in November 2015 and eventually chalked up 15 Hyundai A-League appearances, five of which were starts.
His first senior goal, meanwhile, came against Newcastle Jets in Round 10 of last season.
“It’s been an incredible journey for me at this club,” he said.
“Joining the youth team at 17, going on to make my pro debut, signing my first pro deal and then scoring for my hometown club, which is every kid’s dream.
“I’ve had some amazing memories and made some great friendships that will last a lifetime.
“I’d like to thank the members and fans, coaches, staff and players for making me the player and, most importantly, the person that I am today.
“I wish John Gibson and the PGFC Academy First Team all the best for the remainder of the NPL season.
“It’s a pleasure to have played for Perth Glory and I wish them all the very best for this upcoming season.”
Glory Football Director Jacob Burns was quick to wish the London-born frontman well.
“On behalf of everyone at the club, I’d like to thank Joe for his service,” he said.
“We all wish him the very best for the future.”
