Perth Glory stars Shane Smeltz and Liam Miller have both been ruled out of Thursday-s clash away to Adelaide United at Hindmarsh Stadium.

Smeltz (ankle) and Miller (hamstring) are both still struggling with injury and will now aim to be fit for Perth Glory-s next home game on March 11 against league leaders Central Coast Mariners.

“We need them to be at a certain level of fitness and they are not there yet,” Perth Glory coach Ian Ferguson said.

“We have to deal with it and use all our squad.

“We are not a one-man team and won-t rush them back.

Smeltz has now missed the last two games against Newcastle and Brisbane while

Miller was replaced after 12 minutes in the match against the Jets.

Smeltz has also been ruled out of New Zealand-s friendly match on Wednesday against Jamaica in Auckland.
