The eagerly awaited pre-season match against the Spanish La Liga giants is to be played at nib Stadium on July 27, kicking off at 3.00pm. Tickets sales have been very strong since they were released to Glory Members on Friday and the early signs are that a big crowd will be on hand to see some of Glory-s eight new signings such as Andy Keogh, Mitch Nichols, Diogo Ferreira and Richard Garcia, take on the Spanish stars and show fans what they can look forward to in the coming 2014/15 A-League season.
“Our members have already demonstrated how much they are looking forward to this game. Tickets have sold well over the past few days and I-m sure that will now continue when they open today for sale to the general public.” Perth Glory-s CEO Jason Brewer said.
“It-s great to see the Glory fans get excited about such a game and show their support by getting behind the team and buying up tickets for this game. It is the first time that we will get the chance to see such a top flight Spanish club here in Perth, and it will be a great test in preseason for our much strengthened Perth Glory team.” Brewer added
Tickets for the game go on sale to the general public from 11.00am today. Reserved tickets in the West Stands are priced at $40 for reserved adult tickets, concession tickets at $35 and $25 for reserved children tickets.
General admission tickets, which include all tickets in the new East Stand and North and South Stands including the Shed, are priced at $30 for adults. $25 for concessions and $15 for children. Family tickets (two adults and two children) will be available for just $70 in the East Stand.
Jason Brewer, Perth Glory CEO is once again urging supporters to purchase their tickets early as demand is expected to be high.
“Malaga has confirmed that they will be bringing their strongest squad to Australia, one that has challenged at the highest level of European Champions League football. I-m looking forward to seeing former English Premier League star, Roque Santa Cruz, as well as recent signings, Arthur Boka from the Ivory Coast, Luis Alberto on loan from Liverpool FC as well as Venezuelan international, Roberto Rosales, all of whom will be travelling to Australia.
