Perth Glory can confirm that 24-year-old goalkeeper Pierce Clark has been signed as an injury replacement for Brad Jones who remains sidelined.
Clark gained extensive NPL Victoria experience through stints with Dandenong Thunder, South Melbourne and Bentleigh Greens.
Formerly a part of the youth set-up at Newcastle Jets, he also played in New Zealand’s top flight for Tasman United.
Glory Head Coach Ruben Zadkovich has been impressed by Clark’s approach since he headed west and believes that he is an important addition to the squad.
“Pierce has come in and trained the house down,” he said.
“He has a real appetite to work hard and is striving constantly for improvement in his game.
“He is battle-hardened by a long string of games in the Victorian NPL and that resolve will make him an important part of our squad.
“We are delighted to have him on board with us.”
Clark has been allocated the squad number 30.
