Biography
A key member of the PGFC Academy team that finished as runners-up in the 2018 NPL, Bodnar returned to Glory in 2020 having secured an NPL Premiership winners’ medal with ECU Joondalup earlier in the year.
Now 23, the WA local is a strong, uncompromising central defender who caught the eye with several impressive performances during the club’s 2020 AFC Champions League campaign.
He went on to make 14 A-League appearances for Glory during the 2020/21 season, operating equally effectively as a centre-back and as a holding midfielder.
Ahead of the 2023/24 campaign, Bodnar had played 38 times in the A-League and bagged his maiden Glory goal in a 2-2 draw with Newcastle Jets in February 2023.
