Biography
20-year-old Bugarija is a Sydney United product who spent two years with Croatian giants Dinamo Zagreb before returning to Australia to join Western Sydney Wanderers in 2023.
He has scored eight goals for the WSW Academy side in the NPL NSW this season, linking up particularly effectively with another of Glory’s off-season recruits, Nathanael Blair.
Bugarija’s performances in 2024 have further reinforced his status as one of the brightest young midfield prospects in the country.
He signed for Glory in June 2024, made his ALM debut against Macarthur FC in Round One and ended the campaign with 14 appearances and one goal to his name.
The gifted attacking midfielder doubled his goal tally for the club when he found the net against Central Coast in the 2025 Hahn Australia Cup Final Round Play Off.
