Regarded as one of the best players in the Hyundai A-League during Western Sydney Wanderers maiden season in the Hyundai A-League, Ethiopian-Dutchman Youssouf Hersi has been a very significant acquisition for Perth Glory FC.
Hersi has played for legendary Dutch side Ajax as well as Greek giants AEK Athens amongst an impressive list of former clubs. Hersi’s goal scoring capability and dribbling skills on the right wing in the Hyundai A-League saw him line-up against Juventus in the A-League All-Stars game in August 2014.
Having led the Western Sydney Wanderers to two unsuccessful Hyundai A-League Grand Finals in the two previous seasons, expect the former Netherlands U21 international to be hungry in his third season in Australia.
