Perth Glory is delighted to announce QBE has today signed a three year extension of its sponsorship with the club.
In a massive boost to Perth Glory just 10 days out from the start of the new 2012/13 Hyundai A-League season, the club-s Chief Executive Paul Kelly said the agreement was a landmark.
“Perth Glory greatly values our association with QBE and its incredibly loyal support of our football club which has significantly contributed to the success of Perth Glory and the future of football in the community and will continue to do so,” Kelly proudly commented.
The three year sponsorship extension, until 2015, includes the Perth Glory Youth team and helps QBE continue to support the community.
“We are very pleased to continue our 16 year strong relationship with Perth Glory as Principal Partner,” Colin Fagen, CEO of QBE Australia and New Zealand said.
“QBE-s sponsorship will help further engage the local community and foster the growth of football as a spectator sport in the WA region,” he continued.
The performance of Perth Glory has gone from strength to strength since QBE began sponsoring the team in 1997, with appearances in two finals during the past three seasons.
“We are proud QBE will remain associated with a highly regarded team and one of Australia-s fastest growing sports. We are looking forward to Perth Glory-s continued success in the coming season,” Fagen added.
The agreement was announced at this morning-s Perth Glory Season Launch, hosted by Ben Elton, at Perth-s Kings Park iconic Western Australia State Reception Centre; attended by QBE-s WA and NT Regional Manager, Steve Burns and the Perth Glory squad.
