Perth Glory is delighted to announce young gun Scott Jamieson has joined the club.
Jamieson is the fifth player under the age of 23 to sign for Perth Glory during the off-season following Brandon O-Neill (18 years old), Chris Harold (19), Ndumba Makeche (20) and Adrian Zahra (21)
“Scott is a player I have admired over the years,” Perth Glory coach Ian Ferguson said.
“He-s a great addition to our squad and will make us stronger.
“We were very keen to add youth to our squad and it-s great we-ve now added five players under 23 who have A-League experience.”
The signature of Jamieson is a coup for Perth Glory.
The dashing left full-back has already played two games for the Socceroos and in 2009 was awarded the Hyundai A-League Youth player of the year.
Jamieson has played 95 Hyundai A-League games for Adelaide United and Sydney FC and also spent three years at Bolton Wanderers in the English Premier league from 2006-08.
“I-m very excited to be heading to Perth,” Jamieson said.
“I am extremely grateful for the opportunity and would like to thank Ian Ferguson.
“From the first time I had contact with Perth Glory it felt like a good fit.
“Now I-m looking forward to playing with a group of talented players and developing my game with an astute coaching staff.”
