Perth Glory FC is delighted to unveil the strip it will wear during its 2015 Westfield FFA Cup campaign.

The jersey, manufactured by MACRON, will be worn for the first time  next Tuesday night when Glory travel to Newcastle to take on the Jets in the Round of 32 of the Westfield FFA Cup.

Modelling the new kit today was goalkeeper Jerrad Tyson, and defenders Josh Risdon and Anthony Golec.

Risdon, a born-and-bred West Australian, said he took great pride in wearing any Perth Glory jersey, but singled out the Westfield FFA Cup jumper for special praise.

“Obviously wearing the Glory purple is special, it’s my club and I’m proud to consider myself a part of it but this kit represents more than just Perth Glory,” he said.

“It represents WA as a whole, its people, its towns and city – everything that makes this state great and makes it our home. This really optimizes the unity behind our #WestvsRest call to arms”

Golec said he was looking forward to donning the kit in this year’s Westfield FFA Cup.

“I’m not from Perth or WA, but when you get here you realise that it is a special place full of special people like our members,” he said.

“To pull the shirt on and see that pride on display, that’s something I am really looking forward to.”

Last year Perth Glory were FFA Cup finalists and this year we want to go one better for our members who deserve silverware and success for being the most loyal and un-waivering members in all of sports
