1. Sam Kerr was born in East Fremantle on September 10th, 1993 and is 5″6.
2. Kerr played in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) for Western New York Flash in 2013 and 2014.
3. Sam spent the last NWSL season with fellow Glory teammate Nikki Stanton at New Jersey-based side Sky Blue FC.
4. Kerr has twice won the FFA Female U20 Footballer of the Year, in 2010 and 2014.
5. Sam was named the Professional Footballers Association Footballer of the Year for 2012/2013.
6. Kerr has a boxer named Billie, which has her own Instagram account: @billieboxer.
7. Sam has Matildas 46 caps, scoring eight times.
8. Kerr scored the winning goal against Korea DPR, as the Matildas won their first ever Women’s Asian Cup in 2010.
