W.A. goalkeeping duo added to Glory ALW squad for 2024/25 season

Perth Glory is delighted to confirm that young Western Australian goalkeepers Miranda Templeman and Jessica Skinner have been added to the club’s A-League Women’s squad for the 2024/25 season.

21-year-old Templeman returns to her hometown club having spent the past three seasons with Adelaide United and Melbourne Victory.

A former member of the Future Matildas program and Australia Under-16 representative, she made her ALW debut for Adelaide United in February 2022 and added a further four appearances to her tally during a two-season spell with Melbourne Victory.

17-year-old Skinner, meanwhile, has featured in a number of Young Matildas squads having risen to prominence in the NPLW WA with Hyundai NTC.

Glory Head Coach Stephen Peters believes that the WA duo will provide strong competition for the number one jersey this term.

“Along with another goalkeeper that we have coming in, Miranda and Jessica will form an exciting goalkeeping unit and drive each other to be the best versions of themselves each and every day,” he said.

“The fact that they have both represented Australia at junior level demonstrates their undoubted potential and we look forward to seeing them continue to develop in the coming months.

“It is fantastic to bring two such talented local players into our squad.”

Further ALW squad announcements will be made shortly.
