Perth Glory wishes to remind its Members and fans of the venue arrangements for the club’s remaining four home games of the regular ISUZU UTE A-League 2022/23 Season.
Following Friday’s return to HBF Park for the Round 20 clash with Western Sydney Wanderers (kick-off at 7pm WST, tickets HERE), the pitch is being completely replaced as part of the venue’s ongoing upgrade in preparation for the FIFA Women’s World Cup later this year.
Consequently, Glory’s following home fixture, against Macarthur FC on Saturday 1 April (kick-off at 7pm, tickets HERE), will take place at Macedonia Park.
The club will then make a second return to HBF Park for its final two home games of the ISUZU UTE A-League regular season against Adelaide United on Sunday 23 April (kick-off at 4pm, tickets HERE) and Western United on Saturday 29 April (kick-off at 8pm, tickets HERE).
“We appreciate that the chopping and changing of venue is not ideal for our Members and fans,” said Glory CEO Anthony Radich.
“Unfortunately, as with the other consequences of the HBF Park redevelopment, it is completely beyond the club’s control and another challenge which we have been forced to deal with.
“The replacement of the playing surface was part of the original redevelopment plan and also impacts our fellow-HBF Park tenants Western Force who will play four games on the road following their home fixture on Saturday.
“We would like to thank our Members and fans for the patience and understanding they have shown as the club has attempted to navigate the various venue challenges presented by the circumstances imposed upon it this season.
“The atmosphere created at our home games this year has been magnificent and we look forward to four more memorable matchdays between now and the end of the season, including a fond Men’s farewell to Macedonia Park on April 1st.”
