Perth Glory is delighted to confirm that Ella Abdul Massih and Charli Wainwright have re-signed with the club for the 2025/26 Ninja A-League season.
Both players made their debuts in purple last term, with Abdul Massih featuring on 13 occasions and taking out the club’s Goal of the Season Award for her stunning, match-winning free-kick against Brisbane Roar in Round 13.
21-year-old Perth local Wainwright, meanwhile, made a seamless transition from the NPLW WA to the ALW, racking up 18 appearances and catching the eye with a string of dominant performances in the midfield engine-room.
Glory Football Director Stan Lazaridis believes that the pair provide Head Coach Stephen Peters with some excellent options across several different positions.
“Ella and Charli are both very talented players who will be important members of our squad again in the upcoming season,” he said.
“They are still young and have huge potential which we look forward to seeing them fulfil with Glory.
“The competition for places is going to be very strong across the park this year and that is exactly what we need as we look to secure Finals football.”
