More than 400 guests packed out the splendidly-appointed Astral Ballroom at Crown Perth on Thursday as Glory’s 2022/23 Season Launch Event heralded an exciting year ahead.
Following a stirring Welcome To Country delivered by Neville Collard, Glory Owner and Chairman Tony Sage, CEO Anthony Radich, Head of Recruitment Andy Keogh, Managing Director of major club sponsor Evolution Capital, Stephen Silver and Football Australia Chairman Chris Nikou were among those who took to the stage.
Head Coaches Ruben Zadkovich and Alex Epakis also participated in an enlightening Q&A before both squads were introduced and Mustafa Amini and Natasha Rigby were confirmed as the club’s respective ISUZU UTE A-League Men’s and Liberty A-League Women’s captains for 2022/23.
With comedian Andrew Wolfe providing the light entertainment and the venue filled by corporate partners, sponsors, VIP guests, Members, fans and former players, including Chris Harold, Dino Djulbic, Todd Howarth, Jason Petkovic and Football West CEO Jamie Harnwell, it was the perfect way to usher in the upcoming campaign.
