Perth Glory star striker Shane Smeltz is just one goal away from another record in the Hyundai A-League, his 50th!
In what has been a stunning career, the brilliant forward has scored a phenomenal 49 goals in just 78 games.
This Sunday, Smeltz will have the chance to become just the second player – behind Melbourne Victory-s Archie Thompson – to reach 50 Hyundai A-League goals when Perth Glory plays Melbourne Heart at AAMI Park.
Perth Glory coach Ian Ferguson has added four players to the squad to the team that defeated Adelaide United 1-nil at nib Stadium.
Mile Sterjovski, Adam Taggart, Josh Risdon and Jesse Makarounas have all been named in a 19 man squad with the coach to finalise his travelling team after Friday-s session.
Evan Berger (knee), Victor Sikora (hip) and Adam Hughes were unfortunately ruled out because of injury.
