Diego Castro and Sam Kerr were the centre of attention at Wednesday’s Glory in Business Lunch held at the splendidly-appointed Westin Hotel.
The Spaniard was confirmed as the club’s skipper for the upcoming Hyundai A-League campaign, while the reigning AFC Asian Women’s Player of the Year and Ballon d’Or nominee was in great demand for autographis and selfies among the more than 400 guests.
Both took to the stage to discuss the season ahead and they were joined by Glory Chairman and Owner Tony Sage who revealed details of another major off-field boost for the club in the form of a partnership with innovative investment group, The London Football Exchange.
At the end of the event, Diego and Sam fronted the media – here’s what they had to say, plus a wrap of the event highlights.
