Perth Glory will play Sydney FC at nib Stadium in week 23 on Saturday, March 2, 2013.
Perth Glory has welcomed confirmation from the FFA that the club-s Week 23 game against Sydney FC will be played at nib Stadium.
The game on Saturday, March 2 was initially scheduled to be played as a community fixture.
“We made our best endeavours to take this game to a regional centre, but unfortunately a suitable venue meeting Hyundai A-League standards wasn-t identified,” Perth Glory interim Chief Executive Lui Giuliani said.
“We will continue to work closely with the state government and our key stakeholders to make this possible in the future.”
Damien de Bohun, Head of the Hyundai A-League League, added.
“I thank Perth Glory for the work done on investigating the regional options, but allocating this game to nib Stadium is the best result at this stage,” he said.
Ticketing details for the clash against Sydney FC will be announced soon.
Perth Glory would also like to highlight, the club-s next two home game will now kick-off at 7pm and not 6.45pm as previously advertised. We apologise for any inconvenience.
