A detailed inspection and open assessment of every aspect of Perth Glory-s performances this season has uncovered critical information which Coach Dave Mitchell says will enable the team to turn around their slow start to the campaign.
Mitchell conducted the internal review throughout the week and stripped backed each aspect of the club-s on-field business. The process received a favourable response from players and coaches alike and renewed their faith that the club-s best is still to come.
“Collectively we all have to stand-up and take responsibility,” Mitchell said.
“We have to work harder as a team. We-ve spoken about that and I expect we-ll see the results of that this weekend and in matches going forward.”
The club has turned the disappointment of last week-s performance against Queensland into a new determination and have vowed to show exactly what Perth Glory are capable of this season.
“It wasn-t acceptable, everyone is disappointed and they want to rectify that this Sunday,” Mitchell said.
“We reviewed the game and talked about what we need to do going forward and we have had some good outcomes.
“We know we can do better, everyone is on the same page. We can definitely produce more than what we-ve shown so far.
“This weekend can be the turning point and we can-t wait to get out there and show what we can do,” said Mitchell.
