Our latest trip to Retro Corner features a little twist on the old ‘Spot the Ball’ concept which has morphed into ‘Spot the Player’.
So who is the man with his face so neatly obscured by the ball?
A little context to help you reduce your list of possible candidates?
Of course.
We can tell you that the shot was taken 12 years ago almost to the day when Glory hosted Queensland Roar, as they were then known, in a Round 17 Hyundai A-League clash.
Korean import Seo Hyuk-Su is the man in the foreground, sporting a really chunky pair of mid-2000s shin pads by the look of it and unless we’re very much mistaken, Matt McKay is lurking behind him, ready to pounce on the loose ball.
Interestingly, McKay may well feature against us again on Thursday as we tackle Roar at Suncorp Stadium, while the mystery man recently joined in several Glory training sessions at McGillivray Oval.
As is now traditional with this feature, there is a prize on offer that money literally cannot buy.
After rejecting one shot of Brian Deane playing Frisbee at Carine Open Space and another of Steve McMahon rocking a wicker sun visor, we opted for a dramatic picture of Mitch Nichols being upended by Simon Colosimo.
So get your thinking caps on and join the conversation via Facebook and Twitter.
