Perth Glory is delighted to confirm that its first-team squad will take on Malaysian Premier League outfit Felda United at Dorrien Gardens next Tuesday at 5.00pm.
The fixture presents a great opportunity for players returning to the first team squad to gain some extra match fitness while youngsters on the verge of selection get a further chance to press their claims for a senior call up.
Felda United are using the match as part of their pre-season build-up to the 2014 Malaysian Premier League which begins on the 14th January, 2014.
Under the helm of Head Coach Irfan Bakti, the team dubbed the ‘Settlers- will be deploying some of their latest signing including versatile forward Indra Putra Mahayuddin and strike partner Razali Umar Kandasamy.
Felda United-s supporter tagline is Serang Bang Serang (which roughly translates to “attack”) and after being relegated from the Malaysian Super League, the Eastern state outfit will be taking the test seriously as they look to dominate the new season.
