Perth Glory would like to advise supporters that the fixture for the ‘People-s Game- has been changed to the last home game of the season vs Central Coast Mariners to raise the profile and awareness of the event and football in WA.

The game will coincide with QBE-s long time support of the game and see Perth Glory wear a specially designed shirt representing the WA colours of black and gold, voted and designed by fans.

The match will also celebrate the strength of football as a sport in Western Australia along with celebrating the great people who have made the game the success is, acknowledging some of Glory-s and WA-s greats.

“The Club can-t wait to use this game as a platform to unite the WA football community,” Perth Glory CEO, Jason Brewer said today.

“We-re looking to make this ‘People-s Game- a regular feature for the WA footballing community and we hope that it becomes something that supporters look forward to each year, especially being able to have input into the kit to be worn during the match.” Brewer concluded.

Supporters on the day will be able to choose the game-day music, get involved in nominating the half-time entertainment. A host of local junior club will also be embraced and invited to participate, on mass, in the match-day festivities.

In conjunction with the appreciation, the club will be acknowledging the inaugural Perth Kangaroo players, who competed in the old Singaporean National League, 20 years, almost to the day and were the building blocks to what has become Perth Glory today.

Perth Glory FC encourages all supporters to attend the game and make the most out of the day to show their support for WA football.
