The PGFC Academy First Team’s run of home fixtures continues on Saturday as Inglewood United visit Lark Hill for a vital NPL WA clash (kick-off at 3pm, admission FREE).
John Walmsley’s side have played their last five games at the southern suburbs venue, winning two and losing three and they head into the weekend knowing that victory over United could see them climb back into the middle reaches of what remains an incredibly tight NPL WA table.
The First Team’s 18 NPL outings this season have yielded an incredible aggregate of 91 goals, seven of which came when they visited Inglewood back in Round 5.
Efforts from Jayden Gorman, Daniel Bennie and Gert Prinsloo were not enough to prevent Glory from slipping to a 4-3 defeat that day, but Inglewood have struggled for consistency since then and have won only once in their last seven games.
Saturday’s action will get underway at 11am with the Under-18s seeking an incredible 11th consecutive victory as they bid to extend their nine-point lead over Sorrento FC at the top of the table.
And the Under-20s will also remain in pole position in their competition if they manage to secure three points from their fixture which starts at 1pm.
Do get along and support the lads if you can.
