Perth Glory FC is excited to announce Nebo Marinkovic, has signed on for a further two years with the Hyundai A-League leaders.

Marinkovic, has set the A-league alight this season with his match winning dead-ball skills and has emerged as a menacing midfielder. The 28-year old Serbian has scored eight goals in Westfield FFA Cup and Hyundai A-League competition.

Today, Marinkovic, who arrived in Perth last January, extended his contract for a further two years which will see him stay in purple colours until June 2017.

“I love Perth. It’s an amazing place for me and my family and I have been very happy since the day we arrived. I want to do my bit to help Perth Glory win its first A-League championship. For me that is the top priority” he said.

Marinkovic, who has represented Serbia at youth level, has played in Spain, Greece, Israel and Sweden and secured Glory’s first win over Central Coast in Gosford in Round 5 with a stunning 30-metre free kick.

“Scoring goals is a great feeling and it’s always good to see the fans celebrate with you when you’ve put the ball into the back of the net. They are an important part of the club and I’ll be doing my bit to keep them happy over the next few seasons” Marinkovic added.

Marinkovic’s signature comes after crowd favourite Scott Jamieson signed on with Glory for another two years with the option of a third last month. Glory has also brought exciting German Dragan Paljic to replace injured winger Youssouf Hersi.

Glory will host Sydney FC on Saturday February 7 at nib stadium in what promises to be another blockbuster match between the two rivals. Kick-off is 6.30pm
