Glory goalkeeper Teresa Morrissey’s outstanding form during the 2025/26 ALW campaign has earned her a place in the Professional Footballers Australia (PFA) A-League Women’s Team of the Season.
In what was her first year with Glory, the 25-year-old kept six clean sheets in 14 appearances, made 65 saves and recorded an overall save percentage of 83.3.
She was also short-listed for the ALW Save of the Year and was twice honoured at the recent Most Glorious Player Awards event where she was named Members’ Player and Players’ Player of the Year.
Former Glory trio Grace Jale, Leticia McKenna and Aideen Keane also made the PFA Team of the Season which is compiled from votes cast by PFA members.
Introduced in 2009 and based entirely on peer recognition, selection in the PFA Team of the Season remains one of the highest accolades a professional footballer can receive in Australia.
