Glory’s pre-season campaign is set to continue on Wednesday evening (August 21) with a game against Murdoch University Melville FC at Dorrien Gardens (kick off at 7pm, admission FREE).
The clash with the State League Division Two side will mark Glory’s final WA outing before the squad heads over to the Gold Coast for the Surf City Cup.
As part of that event, Tony Popovic’s men will take on Hyundai A-League opposition in the form of Brisbane Roar (Friday 30 August) and Newcastle Jets (Tuesday 3 September), while also completing an intensive, week-long training camp.
Glory’s pre-season games to date have yielded wins against Bayswater City, Perth SC and the WA State Team, along with a defeat at the hands of Manchester United.
