There’s no better way for sports fans to start 2016 than with an exciting ticket offer when Perth Glory FC host Adelaide United at nib Stadium this Saturday night.

A free ticket is on offer to every child under 16 with the purchase of every adult ticket.

In a sensational way to celebrate the start of the New Year, a host of clubs have come on board to offer special ticket deals that will see no charge for youngsters during this weekend’s RD 14 Hyundai A-League clash.

Glory CEO Peter Filopoulos urged all mums and dads around Perth to take advantage of the initiative and bring their kids along to this weekend’s clash.

“We understand spending power might be tight after the festive season and with school holidays on, it’s a great and inexpensive way to take the kids out and celebrate the first football match at home this year.”

“It’s an opportunity for all boys and girls to see some of the best players in the country including Perth’s own Diego Castro whom Kenny Lowe has described as ‘the best player in the A-League’.

This weekend’s clash will also pay tribute to the vital work carried out by the club’s charity partner, Parkerville Children and Youth Care which provides a suite of services across the metropolitan area and into the Mid-West for children who have experienced abuse.

The organisation, which operates part of its service from the George Jones Advocacy centre in Armadale, has helped protect more than two-thousand children at risk.

“Our message first and foremost is what child abuse does to a child, what it does to their brain, and how difficult it is to recover”  said Basil Hanna, CEO of Parkerville.

Hanna, the inaugural Glory Shed President will be giving a keynote address at the Chairman’s function prior to kick-off on Saturday night.

Kick-off is at 6.40pm.
