Key midfielder Amos extends stay with Glory

Perth Glory is delighted to confirm that Luke Amos will remain with the club for the 2025/26 Isuzu UTE A-League season.

The 28-year-old Englishman joined Glory in January and immediately impressed with his dynamism and technical ability in the midfield engine-room.

He finished the season with eight starts to his name and took out the club’s Goal of the Season Award with a stunning strike in the Round 23 home clash with Brisbane Roar.

A former England Under-18 international, Amos had previously represented Tottenham Hotspur, Queens Park Rangers and Hibernian in the UK and Glory Football Director Stan Lazaridis was thrilled to see him display his pedigree in the famous purple.

“We knew the quality Luke had when we signed him and he showed that consistently for us during the back end of the season,” he said.

“I believe that he can be one of the most influential central midfielders in the league with a proper pre-season under his belt and as a club, we’re extremely pleased to have retained his services for the 2025/26 campaign.

“Luke has become a big favourite with our Members and fans and I have no doubt that he will continue to be a key player for us.”

Further squad announcements will be made shortly.
