Key midfielders Izzy Dalton and Tijan McKenna have both re-signed with Glory for the 2025/26 Ninja A-League season.
The duo were each honoured for standout campaigns last term, with Dalton taking out the club’s Most Glorious Player Award and McKenna being named Players’ Player of the Year.
Club skipper Dalton debuted for Glory in 2023 and has only missed a handful of games since, making 19 appearances in each of her two seasons in purple and scoring three goals.
McKenna, meanwhile, made an impressive start to what was her second spell with her hometown club, showcasing her versatility by proving equally effective at both full-back and in central midfield.
The 20-year-old, who debuted for Glory in 2021 aged just 16, featured in 20 games last season and also scored the first two goals of her ALW career.
Glory Football Director Stan Lazaridis is confident that Dalton and McKenna will scale similar heights once again in the upcoming campaign.
“Izzy and Tijan are key players for us,” he said, “and having them both locked in again for this season is a huge positive.
“Izzy has been a fantastic leader for this club on and off the pitch since stepping into the captaincy role, while Tijan enjoyed the best season of her career last year and is really starting to fulfil her massive potential.
“Both players are sure to be front and centre as we aim to deliver Finals football this year.”
