Former Australian U-20 captain Trent McClenahan has signed an 8 week contract with Perth Glory as an injury replacement player for Scott Neville.
McClenahan, 26 years old, a right full-back played in all three games for the Olyroos at the Beijing Olympics in 2008.
“We-re glad to have him on board,” Perth Glory coach Ian Ferguson said.
“He-s a quality player who has captained his country at youth level.”
Signed by West Ham at the age of 16, McClenahan spent 9 years in the United Kingdom with stints at Milton Keynes Dons, Hereford United, Hamilton Academical and Scunthorpe United.
McClenahan will train with Perth Glory tomorrow from 10am at McGillivray Oval.
