Perth Glory-s annual Auction dinner was once again a roaring success thanks to the generous support of those who donated unique items and everyone who attended and placed bids on the night.

More than 300 guests enjoyed a packed program of entertainment, fine dining and spirited bidding at the WA Italian Club.

A fabulous Hyundai Getz donated by DVG Morley City was just one of the fantastic items to go under the hammer that also included a Socceroos World Cup Qualifying travel package, a barrel of award winning 2007 Shiraz from Wise Wine and money can-t buy experiences like a training session with Glory players at Members Equity Stadium.

Aside from the big ticket items there were hundreds of other great items up for grabs in the silent auction. Some of the most keenly sought were several great cartoon drawings of Glory players by the talented Ashley Clapperton.

The annual auction is Perth Glory-s main fund raising event and enables the club to deliver charity support, school programmes and junior club activities throughout Western Australia under the ‘Glory in the Community- banner.

This year-s Samba theme was a huge success and embraced by players and guests alike. Naum Sekulovski, Nikolai Topor-Stanley, Nick Rizzo and Brent Griffiths got the night off to a great start before the entire playing group finished the evening with a special performance.
