Perth Glory can confirm that the club’s scheduled NPL WA season-opener against Bayswater City at Crazy Domains Stadium at Hartfield Park on Saturday has been postponed due to a number of COVID-19 cases in the PGFC Academy squads.
In addition to the First Team game being off, the Under-18 and Under-20 fixtures have also been postponed.
Player welfare remains the club’s number one priority and the experience gained during the senior team’s current ISUZU UTE A-League campaign has proven invaluable in enabling our PGFC Academy staff to respond effectively and appropriately to the current situation affecting the squads.
A new date for the three fixtures against Bayswater City will be confirmed shortly.
