Football Federation Australia (FFA) has today confirmed that Bankwest Stadium in Parramatta will be the host venue for the entire Hyundai A-League 2020 Finals Series, including Glory’s Elimination Final against either Wellington Phoenix or Western United this weekend.
Unfortunately, however, Glory members and fans will not be able to attend the Elimination Final which FFA have decreed will not be open to the public.
FFA Head of Leagues, Greg O’Rourke, is looking forward to another exciting edition of the Hyundai A-League 2020 Finals Series.
“We have witnessed some amazing football since the restart of the Hyundai A-League 2019/20 Season,” he said, “with some 27 matches played in 34 days.
“Under the current circumstances, we have made the decision to remain in NSW for the Hyundai A-League 2020 Finals Series and have selected Bankwest Stadium in Parramatta to host all matches.
“A limited number of fans will be able to attend the Hyundai A-League 2020 Grand Final (30 August) as well as the Hyundai A-League 2020 Semi Finals, double-header matches (Wednesday 26 August).
“The Hyundai A-League 2020 Elimination Finals will be played on Saturday (22 August) and Sunday (23 August) without fans.
“In addition, we will also be re-introducing the use of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) during all matches of the Hyundai A-League 2020 Finals Series.
“With all teams who have qualified in contention to claim the Championship Trophy, we are expecting a fantastic finish to the Hyundai A-League.”

The Hyundai A-League 2020 Finals Series, including the Hyundai A-League 2020 Grand Final, will be broadcast live on FOX SPORTS, Sky Sport (New Zealand), Kayo Sports (www.kayosports.com.au) and the MyFootball Live App, Live Fast and Data Free for Telstra mobile customers, with selected matches on delayed broadcast on ABC TV.
