Perth Glory is proud to confirm its commitment to the creation of a formal Fan Representative Group (FRG) as part of a league-wide initiative to improve and increase fan engagement.
The A-Leagues Club CEOs and APL Executive met in person earlier this week to review the work that has been in development since early in the year on supporter consultation.
The development process included benchmarking global best-practice and consulting with local stakeholders to conceive the best model for Australasia and it was unanimously agreed to formalise the agreement that every club would commit to a formal Fan Representative Group.
This group will involve a cross-section of each club’s fanbase for the ISUZU UTE A-League Men and Liberty A-League Women to ensure that fan voices can be heard and considered in decision making on key matters.
A chair will be elected from this group to represent their club in the newly-formed League Fan Representative Group and minutes from the group meetings will be shared between the clubs and the League and published on official channels.
We are all committed to ensuring that fan voices are involved in the issues that affect them and work begins now to formalise our group with representatives from across our fan base.
Full details regarding the composition of the Perth Glory FRG and the application process to become a Perth Glory fan representative will be made available in the very near future.
