Glory Men will continue their preparations for the Isuzu UTE A-League 2025/26 campaign by taking on Stirling Macedonia in a pre-season friendly at Macedonia Park on Saturday 6 September (kick-off at 5pm, admission via gold coin donation).
Stirling, currently coached by ex-Glory assistant Ago Mujic, finished fifth in the NPL WA this season, winning ten of their 22 fixtures.
Among their squad are a number of former Glory youth representatives, including Shade Stewart, Danny Douglas. Aston Montgomery and Bayley Brown-Montgomery and another player to look out for will be lively forward Samuel Dweh who top scored for the Lions this year with 12 goals.
The trip to Macedonia Park will mark Glory’s first hit-out since July’s games against AC Milan and Wellington Phoenix and will be followed by a number of other friendlies, the details of which will be confirmed shortly.
